BDO Unveils Honorees for 8th Annual ‘Top Blacks in Health Care’ Awards Gala and Thought Leadership Event

CHICAGO, March 17, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — (BDO), the leading online destination for Black consumers to learn about health and wellness, announced a much-anticipated slate of honorees for its eighth annual “Top Blacks in Health Care” awards gala and thought leadership event.

On Thursday, April 20, 2023, The Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C. (1150 22nd St. N.W.) will host the Black Excellence Celebration. The momentous day will commence with the Thought Leadership Summit from 10 am to 3 pm ET, followed by the Best Blacks in Healthcare awards gala from 7–9 pm ET. The gala, hosted by radio/TV legend Donnie Simpson, will recognize 14 exceptional individuals for their remarkable contributions to healthcare.

The awards are in recognition of their leadership at the intersection of advancements in health care and disease prevention. Their vision, excellence in work, and commitment to healthcare equity are critical in moving our community forward. “These individuals have achieved a very high level of professional achievement, and it is an honor for BlackDoctor.org to recognize their accomplishments.
